Vianne takes over an old pastry shop, renamed La Celeste Praline, which soon becomes - in the eyes of the curate - an element of disorder. Also because Vianne does not attend church but begins to help those in difficulty in her own way: the solitary retired teacher Guillaume, the rebellious teenager Jeannot, the kleptomaniac Josephine, the eccentric Armande. Soon the quiet village becomes more disorderly, rebellious and above all happy. L'esecuzione ruota attorno a colori-guida: il nero e il rosso per l’Inferno, il grigio e l’argento per il Purgatorio, l’avorio e l’oro per il Paradiso. Con scrupolo di esecuzione che punta alla perfezione, l’artista insegue l'ispirazione esprimendosi con assoluta originalità nell'impiego di tecniche miste pittoriche su carta: matite, lacche, pennini, bulino. Il risultato è straordinariamente omogeneo, rivelando una grande unità di concezione: morfologie e composizioni, percezione dello spazio e modulazioni, si alternano tra 'non colore', con il sapiente dosaggio di sfumati dal bianco al nero, e 'colore' con i lievi interventi cromatici.
